CoronavirusAt Novus Spine & Pain Center, your health is our number one priority. We are working to respond to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic by providing you with the best health care and advice following the current Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines.

We intend to continue providing care in a manner that ensures the safety of our patients and staff. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has requested that all elective procedures be canceled. Until further notice, Novus Spine & Pain Center in Lakeland, Florida is canceling all elective procedures.

We are also in the process of arranging a method to provide care through telemedicine. As soon as we initiate this service, we will transition all follow-up visits, without interruptions to the treatment of our patients.

Coronavirus Prevention Measures

Novus Spine & Pain Center has implemented additional measures to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus to patients and staff. Our office adheres to the CDC recommended guidelines and is going beyond our already stringent protocols.

These measures include the following:

  • Our office is deep cleaned and sterilized throughout the day.
  • We have minimized the scheduling of patients to reduce patient-to-patient interaction.
  • All patients are strongly advised to reschedule if any COVID-19 symptoms are present. All patients that have traveled by air or outside the immediate area are rescheduled.
  • We are closely monitoring communications from local, state, and federal agencies and will continue to communicate these updates to our patients.
